The Kansas Supreme Court announced that Jeter Law Firm attorney Christopher W. Sook has been appointed by the court to serve on the Client Protection Fund Commission. He will be one of seven members on the commission, joining a judge, four other practicing attorneys and two non-attorney appointees. Sook's 3-year term runs from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2021.

The Lawyers Fund for Client Protection, which the commission oversees, compensates people that suffer economic loss as a result of dishonest actions by Kansas lawyers. The fund is financed by annual registration fees paid by attorneys practicing in the State of Kansas.
