Jeter Law Firm is pleased to announce that Michael J. Baxter has accepted partnership with the firm, effective January 1, 2018. Michael has been an associate with the firm since 2014 and has managed the firm's Stockton, Kansas, office since its acquisition in 2016.
In addition, the firm's partners announced a change to its name, from Jeter Law Firm, LLP to Jeter Turner Sook Baxter, LLP; with the firm still known primarily as Jeter Law Firm. The name change was also effective January 1, 2018.
"We have contemplated a name change to fully reflect the members of our partnership since Chris joined us as a partner in January 2017," stated the firm's senior partner, Joe Jeter. "We hoped Michael would want to join the partnership as well. When he did, it made sense to make the change to reflect the important rolls that all our partners play in the firm's mission to serve our clients."
